International Dance Photography with On Pointe Photography
On 11th December 2025, On Pointe Photography travelled to The Pearl, Doha for a bespoke dance photography shoot with the Sophie McLaren Dance Company. Set against the modern waterfront architecture of one of Qatar’s most iconic locations, this shoot combined expressive movement with striking urban scenery.
Three Dancers, Three Styles, One Location
The session featured Beatrice, Shyla and Dhara, with each dancer receiving 45 minutes of dedicated shooting time. This allowed On Pointe Photography to focus on individuality, technique and performance quality, while ensuring each dancer walked away with a strong and varied selection of images.
Each solo session focused on:
Clean lines and technical clarity

A trio shoot followed, capturing connection, timing and spatial awareness between the dancers.
